Boil Advisory has been lifted

July 3, 2018
For Immediate Release

The Assumption Parish Water System issued a Boil Water Advisory on 6/30/2018 for water customers due to the loss of system pressure from a main line break effecting the Bayou Corne, Pierre Part and Belle River areas.  Anytime a system has experienced a break in the line, the water produced by our water supply system can contain contaminants. This message is to alert you that samples collected from the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals – Office of Public Health are negative for contaminants and the water is safe to drink. The Boil Water Advisory has been lifted for your area, today, July 3, 2018. Please resume normal water use. Thank you for your patience. If you have any questions please call 985-369-6156.
