Assumption Parish Waterworks District No. 1 is issuing a Boil Water Advisory today on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the intersection of Highway 663 and Highway 398.

The Assumption Parish Waterworks crew is repairing a main line break in the Bayou L’Ourse area. About 30 customers will be without water during this period. The water will be off starting around 12:00 PM and remain off for until further notice. Bacteriological samples will be taken today and delivered to the DHH’s lab.

The boil water advisory will remain in effect until all samples are obtained and cleared by the LA Department of Health. Affected customers will be notified once the boil water advisory is lifted.
