APWW will be issuing a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory on today, 10/15/25 for the following locations in the Labadieville area: From 3171 Hwy 1 – 2962 Hwy 1. There may be some customers along Hwy 308 in the same area that may be affected as well.
Water will be turned off so that APWW can repair a main line leak near Labadieville Elementary School. We anticipate water to be off for about 2 hours.
Once water is back on, all affected customers will be under a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory.
All affected customers have been notified in person or by door hangers.
Water samples will be taken on tomorrow, 10/16/25, and transported to the State Laboratory for testing. When favorable results have been received, we will then notify everyone affected that the Precautionary Boil Water Advisory has been lifted.
