Precautionary Boil Water Advisory - Labadieville Area

October 17, 2025

Good Morning,

APWW will be issuing a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory on today, 10/17/25 for the following locations in the Labadieville area: From 3171 Hwy 1 – 2962 Hwy 1

Water will be turned off so that APWW can repair a main line leak near Labadieville Elementary School.  We anticipate water to be off for about 2 hours.

Once water is back on, all affected customers will be under a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory.

All affected customers have been notified in person or by door hangers.

Water samples will be taken on Monday, 10/20/25, and transported to the State Laboratory for testing. When favorable results have been received, we will then notify everyone affected that the Precautionary Boil Water Advisory has been lifted.

Thanks.
